About Us

We're Farley's Appliance Sales and Services and we've been an appliance store and repair service here in Dixon, IL, since 1950. We believe that our customers should know where to go for great appliances and who to call when they need service on that appliance, this is why we service what we sell, offering HVAC contracting and installation, appliance sales and appliance repairs. We started this business when we found that the community of Dixon had a need for appliance sales and an appliance repair service. My very old furnace needed repair and I was in a real jam. Farley's responded immediately. When Shane showed up his obvious competence was reassuring. He knows the equipment and he clearly explained to me what needed to be done. As he proceeded he found more corrosion and more difficulty . . . That's when the real heroics came in. To keep my furnace from having to shut down, and to save me from going through a horrible period of difficulty, Mike Farley, the owner, came to my house and added his hands to the work. He and Shane worked together until the repair was accomplished even though they both had to become soaked in water to get it done. It was 6° outside this morning. These men work really hard and put themselves out a lot, that's not just being in business that's serving the community.
